What do I get with an Aman Current Account?

Once your account is open, we will issue you with a debit card which you can use at all Aman Bank and Libyan SWITCH ATMs. For a nominal charge you will also get a personalised cheque book.

Can I access and manage my account via my phone?

Yes, you can use the Aman Mobile application to access your account, request statements, transfer money between your accounts, order a new cheque book, and make enquiries about fixed deposits, interest rates and FX rates.

Are there any charges for the current account opening?

No, you will not have to pay anything to open a current account with us.

Can I open a current security account without visiting a branch?

Yes, you can still open an account without visiting a branch. Please email or speak to us via the live chat service. We will talk to you about what to do and send you the documents you need to submit your application. Once your application is approved, we will send you your account and bank card details by mail.

How can I open a current account?

To apply for a current account, download the order form on this page. You should also read our terms. Once you have filled out your form, submit it to any branch of Aman Bank. You will not need an appointment but you will need to provide proof of identity such as an ID card or passport, as well as two copies of the passport for your application.
